A Tour of the Best Cafés in Athens, Greece

We sat in the open large window and had filter coffee with pistachio cake while overlooking the busy street and tropical plants in front of the café. We both got 3 cups to pour our coffee in to be able to experience the unique flavours and characteristics of the coffee to the fullest. The home baked sweets are vegan and gluten-free, and (best of all) very tasty! The owners call it 'a tiny coffee shop with a big heart', and I can say it feels indeed very intimate and authentic. I loved taking a break here, because it is situated on a nice narrow street and there is lots to see while sipping on your coffee.

Tacoma's coffee scene is built around neighborhood roasters, compact cafe corridors, and downtown shops that still feel local. Lodi's coffee scene is compact, local, and easy to pair with a wine-country visit. Huntington Beach coffee runs on early mornings, beach traffic, and locals who know exactly where to stop before work or a surf check.

If you love taf’s beans, you can buy some to enjoy later in Athens or you can buy bags in global cities like coffee roastery London, Singapore and Milan. Located in Athens, The Roosters was set up with a focus on the drinks rather than the design.
